Lilac House Stamford

Lilac House is an imposing Georgian farmhouse built of local stone, its origins and the adjacent farm and fields date back to Saxon times and have been the focus of numerous archaeological digs and studies by local universities.The guesthouse is furnished and decorated to the highest standard reflecting a stylish reminiscence of it's 19th Century origins. All guest areas of the country home are adorned with ornate chandeliers, sweeping and imposing curtains swags and flower arrangements. We live in the house and are proud to open up for the first time and welcome you to our home.Full hearty English breakfast is freshly cooked and served to individual order prepared with traditional local produce.Additionally there is plus a continental buffet style array, laid out offering tea, coffee, fruit juices, cereals, fruit, breads, jams and preserves etc.
